What you should know about pasture grass seed?

Are you planting grass seed in your pasture soon? Do you know that Tall Fescue and Bermuda Common make for a cheap pasture grass seed alternative on a small budget with little maintenance or watering.

I was planting 500 lbs of Bermuda Common grass seed in my pasture last year, it was fairly cheap and easy to seed….I just basically scratched the soil surface area and spread the seed. Bermuda does need watering during the germination period of 10 days but once it takes hold you can scale back drastically.

Bermuda common is available at all feed stores and Home Depot type stores, except they rarely carry large quantities and their prices are much higher than your feed store will be.
